The honey was tested by official institutions, and I own a certificate issued by the Institute of Technology.
DESCRIPTION OF HOUSEHOLD/FARM
After leaving the company I used to work in, I invested in beekeeping 30 years ago. I have 100 colonies now. Around 10 May, acacia is blooming, ideal daily temperature is 25, and at night 15 degrees and bee pasture is can be done once more if it rains. For the last six years we had good pastures. The average yield of honey per hive is 15-20kg, and total 1.5-2 tons.
From the early spring to the late autumn there is work in the apiary. From 15 January to 15 March, there is feeding of bees. I do it with bread and honey that I make with sugar syrup and honey. Syrup contains 2/3 of sugar, 1/3 of honey and water 1:1.
The hives are located in a completely natural environment in orchards at 70-80 m above the sea level. There is no moisture, water retention or any major variations in temperature. The climate is suitable and there is natural fence of acacia as protection from bad influence around the apiary. The plum orchard has 60 acres (Stanley, Čačanska rana) that I use to make a brandy. Also, I have a vineyard on 20 acres and I make lozovača brandy.
